Aastha Chaudhary: For me, travelling is happiness

Actor Aastha Chaudhary has always been an avid traveller. The actor recently travelled to Kerala and had an amazing time there. "I loved Kerala, it was my second trip. Last time, when I had been there, it was a road trip as we drove from Cochin to Kerala. Kerala is a beautiful place and that's why it is known as God's own country. It is full of greenery with green sites and clean roads. Kerala's weather is amazing and I experienced my first monsoon rains in Kerala. It was my family trip filled with fun and laughter," she says.

Talking about her love for traveling, she says, "I have always liked travelling and since the last 5-6 years, I have developed a lot of interest in travelling, especially solo trips and to places which haven't been explored."

She adds, "For me, travelling is happiness as it is the biggest stress buster. Travelling is a learning experience because when we travel, we get to learn a lot of things. I have done many solo trips and I suggest people do so, as it not only gives you happiness but also teaches you many things."


In fact, she has travelled widely in the past. "For me, India is almost done and the North East is the only place remaining. Except that, I have been to all the places in India. I haven't been to abroad much as I thought to cover India first. Abroad, I have only been to Thailand, Bali and Jordan. My next trip would be in the next month to Turkey," she says.

Ask her what is her favourite holiday destination, and she says, "My favourite summer holiday destination is not fixed as it depends on my mood. I don't go every time to one place and I try to find and explore new places."

And what does she makes sure to carry on thede travels? "The first essential thing is that you should have a wallet with money, cards and ID proof. The second is my travelling shoes, third would be my sunscreen and fourth is my make-up kit," she says.
